Ecocleen is pleased to announce it has won exciting new contracts with two primary schools based in Cambridgeshire.
The contracts with Ely St John’s Community Primary School and Monkfield Park Primary School will comprise five days a week cleaning during term time, plus additional holiday cleaning. The three-year contracts will have the potential to be extended by an additional two years. These are fantastic wins for Ecocleen, with the two contracts set to deliver a steady stream of revenue on a long-term basis.
Ecocleen received excellent feedback from these new clients, with Ely St John’s School praising Ecocleen’s thorough understanding of the school’s requirements. The school was also impressed by the value for money that Ecocleen offered, along with a high level of support for the school, and a comprehensive cleaning specification, addressing all elements of school cleaning, including the safeguarding process which is of vital importance to schools.
“The interaction with the school staff helped,” added Jason Marcham, Ecocleen Business Development Director. “A lot of tender site visits involve a number of cleaning contractors all walking around together, and that makes it very difficult then to gauge what the client’s pains are, but we had the opportunity to go and see Ely St Johns School on a one-to-one basis. And, being a school, their budgets are always very high on the agenda, so we put in competitive value for money.”
Jason explained that Ecocleen’s franchise business model is also a great selling point. “The clients’ day to day point of contact is the business owner, who is running the business every day. They’re not just an employee who may not be there in six months, all of our regional directors are in this area to stay. They’re not on the other side of the country – it’s all contained within a local presence. That personal, one-to-one relationship gets you over the mark, and has significant sway with decision making.”
Ecocleen’s green ethos is also instrumental in appealing to new clients. “There’s nobody in this country, in this world, probably, who doesn’t know the impacts of plastic,” continued Jason.
Meanwhile, Sarah Jarman, Head Teacher of Monkfield Park Primary School, said: “We are delighted that Ecocleen are the winning bid to take over our cleaning contract. The rigorous tender process covered all aspects of the contract including compliance, staffing and management. Ecocleen particularly stood out when describing how they would manage the standard of cleanliness at our school.
“In addition, Ecocleen’s use of iPads to record, report on and influence audit control, stock control, service level agreements, KPIs, time, attendance and cleaning standards to manage the cleaning process of the school site will be a huge step forward.
“Monkfield Park Primary School is looking forward to a positive partnership with Ecocleen as our new cleaning contractors.”
Congratulations to Jason and Regional Director Wayne Palmer for your hard work in winning these contracts!
