Schools and Education

Ecocleen work with over 400 schools and educational clients nationally and we like to learn! Consolidating and sharing our learnings means we can provide a better management service for your cleaning. We invest and educate our people, from senior management, to regional directors to our cleaners on the ground. This means you can feel safe and trust us to know what you need and how to safeguard your school.

All this knowledge means we understand the unique needs of cleaning schools, colleges and nurseries. We also understand your budget challenges. We will carry out a full assessment of your site and prioritise cleaning areas so that we can adapt to your budget whilst providing the clean you need.

THE JOURNEY

Our 6 step road map

STEP 1

Walk and talk

We will carry out a full assessment of your site in order to have a full understanding of your requirements.

STEP 2

Meeting of minds

Following on from our assessment we will discuss our findings and talk them through together. This will give you an opportunity to ask any questions so that you’ll also get a feel of how we work and who we are.

STEP 3

Your personal presentation

We will arrange to meet with you to share our bespoke proposal, tailored to your needs including a breakdown of our costs. We can then discuss any questions and move forward together.

STEP 4

Green for Go!

When you have given us the green light we begin planning ahead for the start date. We will handle everything from TUPE of staff to  Local Authority Pensions and recruitment if needed.

STEP 5

The build up begins

Onboarding starts once we have exchanged contracts, this covers a range of areas such as recruitment or transfer of staff, DBS and RTW checks, order of supplies, equipment and uniform, site map, cleaning schedule, staff induction training and an initial site audit.

STEP 6

Day one of the clean

We are then ready to begin and you can rest assured that we start as we mean to go on. You will receive regular site audits, meetings with your Regional Director and all staff will have regular refresher training to ensure that high standards are maintained.

“Since working together, we have noticed a decrease in our pupil absent rate by over 2% and staff absence has also decreased.”

The team of cleaners we have are great and just get straight down to work. They are all very pleasant and approachable to any ad-hoc cleaning requests that might occur every now and then. They also understand that as a school, there will be events going on throughout the year such as parent’s evenings/fairs/meetings, which might require a flexible approach to cleaning on that day and so then would complete cleaning tasks that aren’t required on a daily/weekly basis.

The absent rate of the cleaning is very low, and on the odd occasion that there are absences, they are either covered by supply cleaners that they have, management stepping in, or the existing team work longer, to ensure the job is still done.
